Stephanie’s Recovery Story

When I came to Alcove on July 22, 2024, I was lost, broken, carrying a lot of trauma, and had been struggling with addiction for over 15 years. Over time, though, they helped me regain my strength and courage and showed me my resilience. I learned how to cope with my trauma, found the real me again, and have been able to maintain my sobriety. I was able to do all of this while raising my son, Kingston, who was born on June 19, 2024.

Today, I am a grateful recovering addict, a single mom to an amazing two-year-old boy, and I will be starting school for my Addiction Studies in September 2026.

Thanks to Alcove, I have a happy, beautiful, amazing, and fulfilling life.
