Peanut Butter Classic
The Peanut Butter Classic, presented by Shane Homes, was started by Heather Forsyth (former MLA). Heather wanted to do something to encourage women helping women and children. She called a group of passionate friends and together they formed a charity golf tournament. For women, planned by women, the Peanut Butter Classic has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years in support of Alcove.

2024
On June 10, 2024, the Peanut Butter Classic will be host to over 200 women golfers, who share a passion not just for golf, but for supporting a great cause. In addition to Alcove, the Peanut Butter Classic also garners support for the Calgary Food Bank, and Firefighters Assistance Charitable Society.
